Sixt offers a wide range of car categories, and various different makes and models within each category. Quite popular are the smaller vehicles, especially for single travelers or couples. Slightly larger cars for the small family may include the Chevrolet Cruze and the Renault Scenic. This card has many benefits, such as quicker and more simple rentals, less queues and rental formalities, and discounts on certain holiday vehicles. Apart from the Sixt Express Card there is the Sixt Ladies Card and the Sixt Gold Card. The Sixt Gold Card is specifically for customers who rent from Sixt more than five times per year. This card has all the advantages of the Sixt Express Card, and large discounts on rental rates.
Sixt offers innovative solutions to avoid waiting in long queues when collecting or renting a vehicle. At their locations they have Sixt Quick-Check-In Terminals. To use the terminal customers must have a Sixt Express Card and have already made a reservation. Simply insert your Sixt Express Card or credit card into the terminal to access your reservation. Select your car from the three vehicles available, confirm your booking and print the rental agreement. Open the safe, take your keys, and you are ready to go.
It is also easy to hire a vehicle from Sixt Mobile-Check-In. Customers can phone and book a vehicle up to as little as four hours in advance, and all that is needed is your Sixt customer number or credit card number. After making the reservation, you can use the Sixt Quick-Check-In Terminal to choose your vehicle and collect your keys.
At Sixt, Catania Airport, primary renters should be at least 21 years of age, and in possession of a valid driver’s license and major credit card. Renters under the age of 25 may be subject to a young driver’s surcharge, and may also not be allowed to rent certain larger or specialty type vehicles. Sixt only accepts major credit card for rental payments, and these include Eurocard, American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa. No pre-paid or debit cards are accepted.
