“The staff is so friendly and sweet! We felt so welcomed! We started out with ice cold Red Stripe beer (our favorite) from Jamaica. My husband ordered the special of the night, Oxtail, and I got the jerk chicken. Both were perfectly done, falling off the bone delicious! The sides were huge portions and also so delicious. We order beef patties to go, and ate them later, they were soooo good! Made me feel like we were in Jamaica! It wasn't busy so we got to meet the owner, super nice guy. I honestly couldn't believe the place wasn't packed! This place is a hidden gem in Leavenworth! The prices were reasonable, the food was perfection! We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to all of our friends!”

“I had not been there until today and boy have I been missing out. I had the open faced turkey sandwich. First of all, after one bite you could tell that everything was made from scratch. Secondly, the portion was HUGE.I brought half of it back home.Thirdly the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly.You could tell they have a lot of in person regulars, as well as to go orders from their regulars. I arrived at 11am and by 1115am the place had almost filled up.I will definitely be back, and thanks for a great lunch.”

“Came on Sunday early afternoon. Alex D. was our server. Ordered Irish Kegs as an appetizer, Bangers and mash, Fish and chips, sweet tea, Guinness, and for dessert bread pudding. In another review someone described the Irish Kegs as large tots with seasoning and goodness… that is a perfect way to describe them. Bangers and mash is sausage, mash potatoes, cabbage, a slice of toast, and a side of some kind of delicious sauce. The fish was fantastically breaded and plated on top of the fries which prevented it from getting soggy and keeping the crisp. Bread pudding was mouth watering. The food absolutely blew me away. Our server, Alex, was amazing. She made the experience absolutely fantastic.”

“Best Cheesecakes around! Been having a cheesecake a week with friends trying all the flavors! So far I can’t choose a favorite they are all so good! Brownie Sundae, White Chocolate Pastacio, Pecan, Turtle all mouth watering… try it I promise you won’t be dissapointed… may gain a few pounds but it’s totally worth it”

“Fantastic newer brewery in Leavenworth. We tried the pretzels and the bierocks. Everything is cooked to order and delicious. Based on the bierocks dough, we can't wait to come back and try their other offerings. The owner Justin is a gem, and made sure we were perfectly taken care of. “Bill‘s kitchen has the best gizzards I’ve ever had. When the food arrived it was hot and the gizzards were so tender and easy to eat. The flavor was wonderful. My granddaughter had the kids meal chicken tenders and they were hot and good with french fries. My sister had fried okra and she said it was really good. I recommend, Bill‘s kitchen to everyone. I give it five stars.”

“I went to Scooter’s for the first time and needed some extra help ordering and the lady who helped me was super friendly, helpful, and patient. Went with a blended butterfinger drink. Ordered a medium and she upgraded me to a large since it was my first time. Totally unexpected yet very pleasantly surprised. They also gave me a sucker too! It was a great experience and I will definitely be back!! ❤️”

“Found this place while working the summer as a bomb pop man in 1986 , it was run by a man of polish descent and had sport memorabilia on the wall so i sent him a soccer penent, visited again in 89 and same guy was behind the bar not been since as i am from UK, hopefully I’ll get some time soon as im 61 years old.”

“Classic diner with an old time feel and the food is delicious! My only complaint is that some of the staff are rude and make you feel guilty for asking for a refill or questions on the menu. Otherwise, great place to eat! Will definitely go back! Been going to it on occasion for years!”

“Overall the food tasted good, but it was the smallest portion of a rueben I have ever had.The cheese steak was missing onions and peppers as requested and had to be sent backand the initial order for coleslaw was out of stock and had to be substituted.The waitress/manager comped our meal for the mess ups in the kitchen.Overall it was a decent meal, and I am may try again some other time, but despite the mess ups I felt the manager did everything she could to make it right.Once corrected the cheesesteak was great. The rueban however I would not recommend.”

“They have great food and if you dine in you get your food right away. Go in the drive thru and we waited roughly 25 minutes just for ice cream. Everyone that came after us got their ice cream or food before we did. I never had a problem with them until tonight. 25 minutes just for ice cream is insane to me and a bit ridiculous. The is the most I’ve ever waited to get ice cream from them.”

“Small, but it’s a Dairy Queen. Friendly service, food is consistent with a big sit-in DQ. It’s the only DQ in town so there is a line and the workers inside work hard to get everyone through. I found the people in line to be patient, understanding, and friendly. Pass the time waiting by striking a conversation with a fellow patron and the time goes by fast. Enjoy!”
